Multi-national research in intradermal therapy culminated with Pistor’s work from 1948 to 1952 in human mesotherapy treatments. The French press coined the term Mesotherapy in 1958. Amara Spa has trained professionals in mesotherapy who hold diplomas in dermarollers and mesotherapy. These professionals are trained on the Pistor Eliance mesotherapy device and can treat stretch marks, melasma, and perform both body and face mesolifts and the mesoglow treatment for a new dimension in rejuvenated skin. A specific cocktail of vitamins, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, peptides, amino-acids and minerals is injected just below the surface of the skin. These are essential components of healthy skin cells. All these products are naturally occurring but degrade as our skin becomes older and stressed. Mesotherapy replaces these nutrients and the skin becomes more luminescent, hydrated and nourished with a firmer and improved texture.*

Cost on average is £180 per session per area. Exact costs upon consultation.

Consultations are free of charge.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are often red or purple to start with, before gradually fading to a silvery-white colour. They’re usually long and thin. The tummy (abdomen), buttocks, breasts and thighs are the areas of the body most often affected.

Stretch marks are the result of the skin suddenly stretching. The middle layer of skin (dermis) breaks in places, allowing the deeper layers to show through. Stretch marks are most commonly caused by pregnancy, rapid weight gain and growth spurts during puberty.

This treatment works to repair stretch marks with the restoration of connective tissue within the epidermis. This induces regeneration of new skin and stimulation of healthy tissue.*

Treatment requires 2-6 sessions 7-14 days apart.

Prices are dependant on size of area of stretch marks. Ask for a FREE consultation with our experts.

Melasma

Melasma is a skin condition, which causes dark tan coloured patches to appear on areas of the body that have been exposed to the sun. It is usually more prominent during the summer months as exposure to sunlight exacerbates the condition. Melasma usually appears on the face but can also appear on other areas of the body. Melasma is a type of hyper pigmentation. It is caused by the build up of excess melanin, which creates patches of darker skin. Melasma is usually associated with dark skinned women but can affect light skinned women and men too. Melasma can be a side effect of prescription medicine. Ask our pharmacist for advice and treatment plans.

We use a carefully selected and proven combination of cosmeceuticals to lessen or completely remove the melasma and have been getting great results for our clients.*

Treatment requires 6 sessions with first 3 sessions 2 weeks apart and the final 3 sessions 3-4 weeks apart. Monthly maintenance treatments will be required after the initial build up phase.

Face or Body Mesolift

Mesolift will firm, fill and moisturise your skin. This treatment reduces sagging and increases tightening by increasing useful collagen levels and renewing skin elasticity.*

Requires a session once every 2 weeks for 3 months to build up the skin and then once every 3 months to maintain great healthy results.

Mesoglow

Is your skin looking tired and dull? The Mesoglow treatment is fantastic at providing your skin with radiance and youth. This treatment increases skin quality with rejuvenation and rehydration by revitalising the lower skin cells of the dermis. This is a long lasting solution that once the initial build up phase is completed you only need 4 sessions a year to maintain.

Requires a session once every 2 weeks for 3 months to build up the skin and then once every 3 months to maintain great healthy results.
