About Us

Way back in the spring of 2002, Amara Spa owner Jacqueline Kearney was diagnosed with breast cancer. Recognising the therapeutic effects that spa therapies and treatments could have on her recuperation, she set out to find somewhere that could help her forget about the illness and help her feel special and calm. Unfortunately, she was very disappointed with the offerings in the spas and salons she visited - particularly with the lack of customer service and staff knowledge.

She spent the next year researching the industry to find exceptional products and treatments that really gave the results they promised which would fit in with her vision of a spa that really cared about their guests. Her choice of Dermalogica, Environ, Jane Iredale, St Tropez and Jessica have certainly all lived up to her expectations.

The Next Step...  The next step was to look for suitable premises where she could really indulge her clients with exceptional treatments and therapies. This led her to Fulham in South West London and Amara Spa was born!

That was several years ago and Amara Spa is now a successful, busy business and thriving. Whilst still focusing on the core vision, the dedicated team of highly experienced and qualified therapists are constantly updating their already vast knowledge.  They consistently strive to give you the most up-to-date treatments and products available to ensure you get results you can really see and feel. And they never forget how important it is that you feel special and cared for.
